Verdict
The Ma 10 across the Tramuntana in Mallorca has all the drama of the Amalfi coast with a fraction of the traffic, better surfaces and no coaches wedged in the villages.
Amalfi is the more beautiful place. Drive it out of season, in November or March, and it turns back into a great road.
