Verdict
Going to the Sun is more scenic per mile but it is slow, busy and now requires a timed entry reservation for much of the summer. The Beartooth climbs higher, opens up more and lets you drive properly.
Going to the Sun is the better single sightseeing day, and it is unforgettable in early morning light.
