Verdict
The Atlantic Road is a magnificent five minutes and a very short one. Trollstigen is a full climb with eleven hairpins, a waterfall and a viewing platform that justifies the whole trip north.
In a storm, with waves breaking over the bridges, the Atlantic Road becomes the best five minutes of driving in Scandinavia.
